Services

Below are the services I currently provide. If you are not sure what service you need, please contact me. I provide new clients with a free sample edit.

Copyediting

This service is for clients who want their manuscripts edited for spelling, punctuation, grammar, syntax, usage, capitalization, and hyphenation. I will add comments if I notice any plot holes or consistency issues. Also, if there is any confusing text, I will point it out.

Once the copyediting is complete, I will provide you with the following:

• a copy of your manuscript with my changes tracked

• a clean copy of your manuscript with my changes accepted

• a style sheet

• up to two hours of follow-up questions by email

Additional consultation is available by email and will be billed at $50.00/hour.

Proofreading

Proofreading is for manuscripts that have already been copyedited and formatted. This is the last step before manuscripts go to print. I will review your document for missing punctuation, typos, duplicated or missing words, and formatting issues.

Once the proofreading is complete, I will provide you with the following:

• a copy of your manuscript with my changes tracked

• a clean copy of your manuscript with my changes accepted

• up to one hour of follow-up questions by email

Additional consultation is available by email and will be billed at $50.00/hour.
